Keep Going!

Hi Friends,

I'm back again with a short word of encouragement.

I love my garden, but it can sure overwhelm me at times. It is rather large, and work lies waiting everywhere.

Often, I am so busy watering, sowing, weeding, raking, and tidying that I have no time to just sit on the bench for a few minutes.

How like all of life! But with greater age, I am slowly becoming wiser. I try now to make a point of sitting for a while in the sunshine with a cup of tea, or I'll take a leisurely stroll to check my plants.

In these precious moments, I can breathe, and just be. And as I cease my rushing, God often speaks in the stillness.

Dear Reader, don't forget to slow down today.

Ps. When you weed, make your life a little easier by leaving the weeds on top of the soil instead of bagging them up. They will rot down slowly and enrich the soil.
